The funfair around my apartment block opened this Friday. This means that for the next week next to my apartment now stands a 30ft high raft course with little screaming children, candy canes and a carousel.
Saturday Oscar was coming over, we started out making some attempt at creating d&d characters but instead went out and got me Alone in the Dark. As a bonus to Alone in the Dark I got the free demo of the Spore creature creator. 
Naturally we forgot all about Alone in the Dark when we got home and installed Spore right away. After some rough experiments I decided to buy the full Creature Creator. And after an hour or so I came up with this.
The Sunday I spend lazy playing wow. Its midsummer fire week now and you can get some cool items from the event. I’m going for the Dancing brazier, an Item that lets you transform into fiery dancing draenei.
Why I shouldn’t be god!

Finally an update again (for the few people that ever visited this site :p).
Anyways I haven’t thought of anything to put here so I kind of forgot I had the blog. I was thinking about how to revamp this into something I might actually keep regularly updated. And I found something! From now on I’m going to use this blog as a diary or log thing for my musical development. Starting now!
Bass progress & Popschool
The bass guitar lessons are going great. Currently I’m still working on getting ‘Toto - Georgy Porgy’ clean and groovy when I play to the songtrack on my pc. The parts where I have to play 3 16th notes in a bar still don’t come out very well. But I’m working on it. Lola and me started on transcripting ‘Kane - Rain down on me’ and I’ve almost finished it already. Transcripting the bass bridge and writing it out on paper still have to be done. After that its practice time
Yesterday I visited the Popschool in Dordrecht. Its a music school where people after sign up are put in a band and given band and instrument lessons. I’ve been looking for a band to speed up my progress with the bass guitar, but I didn’t find anything until now. So after a conversation I had with one of the teachers I signed up for next year. Which starts in September. I’m quite happy with Lola’s lessons so I entered as a bassist and took classes for singing. The intake is 8 July so I hope I will be placed in a cool band.
